Computer Usage Columns - Tip Off Error message
My machine displays the following message, "OE HAS OCCURED AT 0028:C18C9B8B IN VXD WSOCK2 01+0000373B" when I start the system and also takes a lot of time to boot. Please suggest a solution. Pancham Arora The Wsock2.vxd is typically a windows sockets kernel mode support just like the Wsock .vxd. However, wsock2.vxd is a 2.0 transport service used by TCP/IP. It could be that you have installed some new network components or services which would not have got successfully configured or installed which has resulted in the above error. If you remember doing any of these, please remove and add these components again or just remove and reinstall the TCP/IP component.
