Jet Airways to operate services on 2 new routes

NEW DELHI, Dec. 12

JET Airways is to offer a daily service between Chennai and Mangalore and a twice-daily service between Chennai and Madurai from December 15.

In a statement, the airline has said that the service, which is to be operated by the 62-seater ATR 72-500 aircraft, will leave Chennai at 10.20 a.m. and arrive in Mangalore at 11.55 a.m. In the return direction, the flight will depart Mangalore at 12.25 p.m. and reach Chennai at 2 p.m. The airline has also come up with a special excursion return fare of Rs 6,380 on this sector, which is to be valid till further notice. The morning flight on the Chennai-Madurai sector will depart at 6.30 a.m. and arrive in Madurai at 7.50 a.m. Similarly, the evening flight on the sector will depart Chennai at 6 p.m. and arrive in Madurai at 7.20 p.m. The airline has also announced an excursion return fare of Rs 5,480.
