G-Securities volumes up
According to PNB Gilts recent research report, secondary market volumes in the Government Securities market have increased consistently in the current year.
The total volumes traded in the first quarter of this year works out to Rs 2.50 lakh crore against Rs 93,000 crore in the same quarter last year. Most of the trades were concentrated in 10-15 year maturity period.
