KOLKATA: THE Calcutta Stock Exchange on Wednesday saw the Usha Martin Infotech, HLL and Wipro counters shine amid selling and weakening of sentiment.
Largely the new economy shares were the targets of selling. Among the top losers were the scrips of DSQ Software, Zee Telefilms, NIIT, Pentamedia Graphics and HFCL.
The CSE-50 index, after touching a low of 114.31, closed at 120.72 points against the previous closing of 121.44. The total turnover of the exchange stood at Rs 62.61 crore. -- Our Bureau
