Reliance enters Forbes list
MUMBAI: Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is among four Indian companies listed in the Forbes International 500 list.
The three others are public sector companies - Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and State Bank of India. RIL is the fist Indian private sector company to be listed in the Forbes-500.
Companies qualifying for listing on the Forbes list have to have revenues of at least $5.2 billion, be incorporated outside the US and be publicly traded as of May 31, 2001. -- Our Bureau
