Core sector takes the capital capital inflow
THE Reserve Bank of India, in a recent study on growth of capital investment in the corporate sector in 2000-2001, has pointed out that infrastructure projects comprising power, telecom, storage, roads and ports (41 projects), with an aggregate cost of R s 26,750 crore (accounting for almost 50 per cent of the total cost) dominated the industries list in 1999-2000.
