New CMD for Ennore Port -- Talks with TNEB high on agenda
An IAS officer belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre, Mr M. Raman, will have his hands full when he takes over as the Chairman and Managing Director of Ennore Port Ltd, the company that will look after the corporatised Ennore satellite port.

Haldia dock to handle furnace oil traffic
HALDIA dock is all set to attract furnace oil traffic. This follows the Union Government's decision to dismantle administered pricing mechanism in respect of furnace oil. Also, the dock authorities have received clearance from the Chief Controller of Exp losives for handling the cargo.

Karwar-NMP venture awaits clearance
A PHASE two proposal to develop Karwar port in joint venture with the New Mangalore Port has been pending clearance from the Ministry of Surface Transport.
