Customs notification may hit trade through Petrapole
THE Commissioner of Customs, Kolkata, in charge of Petrapole, in a recent notification, has informed exporters that appraisal and processing of all Drawback Shipping Bills for all exports under the Drawback Scheme through Petrapole Land Customs Station ( LCS) is now proposed to be done electronically through EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system at the LCS from June 1, 2001.
