Amara Raja Batteries: Flat charge ahead

THE Amara Raja Batteries' stock has been on a sharp bull run in recent months.

But the preferential allotment, scheduled to be settled at a meeting of the board of directors of the company on January 25, may change that. The preferential allotment is to the promoters -- Galla Family and the foreign collaborators, Johnson Controls M auritius Pvt Ltd. With this factor out of the way, the stock may move more in line with fundamentals. -- BL Research Bureau
