Mormugao port to buy four barge unloaders
THE Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) proposes to acquire four barge unloaders of 500-tph (tonnes per hour) capacity each, according to sources.

STUs Q1 revenue up 15 pc
FOR the quarter ended June 2000, the State transport undertakings (STUs) have recorded an increase of 15.55 per cent in the total revenue generated. The STUs have recorded a total revenue of Rs 3,809.78 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 3,297.10 crore recorded for the corresponding period last year.

Kvaerner bags Delhi Metro deal
KVAERNER Constructions has bagged the construction contract worth Rs 29 crore of the Pratap Nagar and Vivekananda Puri metro stations on the Tis Hazari-Tri Nagar sections of the Delhi Metro Rail Project.
