Gold remains range-bound
GOLD was for the most part of last week range-bound at $269-272 per ounce despite factors that could have potentially lent firmness. The week ended at $270.45/oz, London PM fix, a one per cent decline week-on-week, as the currencies remained centre-stage .

Sugar
Sugar: Prices may stay firm
THE domestic sugar prices may remain stable in the near future. The increase in the quantum of free sale sugar for the period October-December is likely to help sustain domestic sugar prices at current levels.
