Boskalis team may bag IOC's refinery project at Paradip
THE joint venture between Boskalis International and Dredging International is close to bagging the dredging and reclamation works contract worth over Rs. 400 crores for the proposed Eastern India Refinery project of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) at Parad ip in Orissa.

Rs 2400 cr allotted for AP road development projects
A SUM of Rs. 2,400 crores has been allotted for the development of roads in Andhra Pradesh against a projected requirement of Rs. 3000 crores this year, said Mr. K. Vijayarama Rao, Minister for Roads, Buildings and Ports, here on Wednesday.

Plan for one more port side container terminal in Bengal
CONTAINER Corporation of India (Concor) is exploring the possibility of setting up an additional port side container terminal (PSCT) in West Bengal, mainly to handle the projected increase in domestic containerised traffic. The location, yet to be finali sed, might be somewhere near Janai Road in the Dankuni area of the Hooghly district, which well connected by both road and rail.

Foreign carriers yet to begin operations from Kochi airport
THOUGH international status was conferred on the nearby Nedumbassery Airport on April 13, no foreign carriers have commenced operations so far from this airport for want of permission from the Union Government.
