Idea lunches ISD voucher in Kolkata

NEW DELHI; Idea Cellular on Friday launched special Power Vouchers offering discounted International Subscriber Dialling rates for Bangladeshi Nationals travelling to Kolkata.

Idea’s Power Voucher allows subscribers to make outgoing calls to Bangladesh at just Rs 1.99 per minute. It is priced at Rs 12 and comes with a validity of 7 days. Another Power Voucher priced at Rs 36 offers ISD call rate of Rs 1.99 per minute and comes with a validity of 30 days from the day of activation.

“Kolkata and West Bengal witnesses huge traffic from Bangladesh for various reasons ranging from medical care, shopping and business purposes. Majority of these travellers have an average stay of 15—30 days and during this period they need to connect wit h their friends and relatives back home,” said Mr Ambrish Jain, IDEA Cellular Director-Operations. - PTI
