Tur dal, urad dal prices down

CHENNAI: Prices of tur dal, urad dal and gram dal went down while all other commodities remained unchanged at the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Tur dal moved down by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 7,000. Urad dal decreased by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,300. Gram dal went down by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 3,150. Moong dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji were traded at the previous rates.

Following are the rates in Rs per quintal: Tur dal 7,000, urad dal 6,300, moong dal 7,000, gram dal 3,150, sugar 2,900, wheat 1,950, maida (90 kg) 1,750 and sooji (90kg) 1,950. PTI
