Cochin Port workers' plea

The Cochin Port Employees Organisation, one of the major trade unions in the port, has appealed to the Chief Minister to take up with the Centre the issue of the continued operation of the Rajiv Gandhi Container Terminal by Kochi Port to handle coastal, comby (combined cargo) and Defence vessels, after the commissioning of the Vallarpadam Terminal.
