A. Subbiah to head Tuticorin Port Trust

Mr A. Subbiah, Deputy Chairman of Tuticorin Port Trust (TPT), has assumed charge as Chairman of the same port following the departure of Mr G.J. Rao, till recently the Chairman of TPT, according to a press release.

Mr Subbiah is an officer of the Indian Administrative Service of 1992 batch and belongs to the West Bengal cadre.

Mr Rao has taken over as the Chairman of Paradip Port Trust. Mr Subbiah served in various capacities in West Bengal including as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Kolkata Port Trust, the release added.
