Poultry Corporate - Alliances & Joint Ventures Suguna Poultry, German co tie up to make vaccines Our Bureau Hyderabad, Aug 9 Global player, Lohmann Animal Health and Coimbatore-based Suguna Poultry have formed a joint venture company to manufacture and market poultry vaccines. GLOBIVAC The joint venture, Globion India Pvt Ltd, had commissioned modern vaccine manufacturing facility at the Genome Valley here recently. Globion would market its vaccines under the brand ‘GlobiVac'. The company has been set up with an investment of $15 million. ‘NEW ERA' “The joint venture will start a new era and pave the way for high-end technology from Germany to India,” Mr B. Soundararajan – Managing Director of Suguna Poultry said in a release. Germany-based Lohmann was present in all major poultry producing countries and with a leadership position in specialty vaccines viz. Salmonella, Chicken Anaemia vaccines, the release added.
