Mr K.V.L. Narayan Rao has been appointed the new CEO of the NDTV Group. He will oversee the businesses of the media group in the country and outside, and NDTV's expansion plans and entry into non-news business segments.

"With Narayan's rich experience in media broadcast and his leadership experience, he is the best person to steer NDTV in its rapid growth phase. His strong execution skills, his understanding of the organisation culture and his personal integrity makes him the obvious choice," said Mr Prannoy Roy, Chairman, NDTV Ltd, in an official release.
