NIFT knitwear meet in Tirupur tomorrow

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is holding a knitwear industry convention at Tirupur on November 23.

The convention, to be held at the Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) premises, isintended to propagate the initiatives taken by NIFT , especially in areas such as sizing of garments and fashion forecasting. Ms Gauri Kumar, Director-General of NIFT, Delhi, will deliver key-note address at the convention, according to a communication from the association.

NIFT has also initiated several measures including upgrading/updating the courses offered for the fashion industry and for campus recruitment in NIFT, Chennai, by January , the communication further added.
