Sterling Biotech posts higher net

Sterling Biotech Ltd has posted a 27 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 36.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 28.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total income has increased to Rs 162.08 crore (Rs 123.06 crore), the company told the Bombay Stock Exchange.
