Zak Tradefairs and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd is about to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Messe Dusseldorf GmbH, a 236-million euro Germany-based company that organises international exhibitions, to organise tradeshows jointly, according to Mr Syed Zakir Ahmed, Managing Director, Zak.

As per the MoU, the German company would bring in global players to participate in exhibitions conducted by Zak in India in addition to lending its expertise to the actual running of the fair.

As per the MoU, the two companies would jointly organise Glasstech, an international glass and glazing technology exhibition, from 2007. After that, the two companies would look to tie-up for exhibitions in other verticals as well, Mr Ahmed said.

The MoU would be signed on August 26 as a part of Zak's celebration of having organised 200 exhibitions since inception.
