SPEL Semiconductor Ltd, a Chennai-based semiconductor integrated circuit assembly and test company, reported a reduced net profit of Rs 68.7 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, compared to a net profit of Rs 99.1 lakh for the corresponding quarter previous year. Revenue for June quarter was Rs 12.30 crore (Rs 11.43 crore), total expenditure Rs 10.10 crore (Rs 9.06 crore) and interest Rs 25.7 lakh (Rs 33.3 lakh).
