Letters India-Asean FTA
This is with reference to "A non-starter FTA" (Business Line, July 18): If the India-Asean FTA does not take off it will be a great disappointment for those hoping for a pan-Asian economic set-up. We cannot afford to live in isolation. We have to think of a better farm policy that gives input subsidies and increases productivity so that the farmers get remunerative income at lower prices and are able to compete globally. A. Jacob Sahayam Thiruvananthapuarm
