DAMPENING HOPES: A worker drying chilli stocks at the agricultural market in Malakpet, Hyderabad. A recent thunderstorm has left chilli harvested in parts of Andhra Pradesh with high moisture and dampness. As a result, the prices have dropped by Rs 150 a quintal to Rs 2,300.
