Our Bureau

New Delhi, March 2

Hyundai Motor India today announced a price cut on all locally produced models by up to Rs 26,000 following the reduction in excise and Customs duties in the Union Budget.

The price cut on Hyundai's flagship car, the Santro Xing, ranges from Rs 16,000 to Rs 26,000 as per the reduction in excise duty.

The price on other cars - the Getz, the Accent, the Elantra, and the Sonata - have all also been reduced on account of the reduction in Customs duties.

While the price of the Getz GLE and the Elantra have been reduced by Rs 2,000, the Accent is cheaper by Rs 1,000 and the Sonata AT (L) by Rs 15,000.
