Khadi mela in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: The Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board, Commissionerate of Khadi and Village Industries and Alappuzha Sarvodaya Sangh are jointly organising `Khadi Mela 2006' from January 29 to February 10 at Kottayam.

This exhibition and sales festival will have the participation of important Khadi institutions from Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The theme pavilion which explains the important aspects of the processing of Khadi industries' products will be an added attraction to the mela, said Mr R. Shaji Administrator, Alappuzha Sarvodya Sangh.
