CSI student chapter meet in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the efforts to involve the student community in its activities, the Thiruvananthapuram Chapter of the Computer Society of India (CSI) is organising a State-level student convention on Friday and Saturday here.

Titled "Fusion.edu.2006", the convention is being co-organised by the CSI student chapter of the Mar Baselios College, said Ms Valsa B., Chairperson, CSI Thiruvananthapuram Chapter. Eminent personalities will address the various sessions which will also feature paper contests, technical quiz and software debugging competitions.

Mr Satish Babu, Secretary-elect, National Executive Committee, CSI, will inaugurate the programme and deliver the keynote address. At least 300 students of information technology and computer application from various colleges will take part.
