Hyderabad , Jan 9

REMIT2INDIA, part of TimesofMoney.com of the Times Group, has unveiled NRI services here on Monday, coinciding with the concluding ceremony of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas-2006.

The Deputy Secretary in Union Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Mr Yogeshwar Sangwan, launched the services.

The services range from basic needs such as money transfer to more evolved needs such as investment and advisory services that the NRIs were looking for, all under one roof, the TimesofMoney Chief Operating Officer, Mr Suresh Rangarajan, said.

According to him, it was a logical extension for Remit2India to start offering the new product suite of NRI services after attaining leadership position in online money transfer business.

With the launch of new services bouquet, the NRIs would be able to buy and sell mutual funds, get investment advisory services, avail of home loans, get assistance in buying and selling real estate.

Towards this, the Times Group outfit has entered into alliances with 15 mutual fund companies and two stock broking firms, Mr Suresh Rangarajan said.
