New DuPont India President

NEW DELHI: Dupont India has announced the appointment of Mr Balvinder Singh Kalsi, Executive Director, DuPont India and Business Director - South Asia, DuPont Crop Protection, as its new Country President.

He takes over from Mr Henrique H. Ubrig who retired on November 30 after 27 years of service with DuPont. Mr Kalsi joined DuPont in 1991, and has held various positions, including finance and business leadership, in the company.

Commenting on the leadership change in DuPont India, Mr D.S. Kim, President - Asia Pacific, DuPont, said, "Balvinder's appointment as the first local talent to take over the responsibility of DuPont India President reiterates our strong confidence in Indian talent. He brings in a wealth of experience at the top-job, having worked in multiple strategic roles at DuPont India."
