Hyderabad , Oct. 18

THE ICFAI University Press and Cyberabad Police have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) here on Tuesday for academic partnership.

The MoU seeks to transform Cyberabad Police into a people-friendly, citizen-centric and responsive police organisation towards delivering the best-in-class police services, according to an ICFAI release.

The MoU was signed by the ICFAI University Press Dean, Prof N. Rajshekar, and the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Mr M. Mahender Reddy, in the presence of State Home Minister, Mr K. Jana Reddy.

On this occasion, the Home Minister released a booklet titled Guidelines for a Safe Community, which is the beginning of a series of books to be published on public safety.

The activities proposed to be taken up as part of the MoU include printing and circulating literature on public safety & security, conducting public feedback surveys, building case studies on public safety issues and enabling ICFAI students to conduct field studies on social issues.
