GREAT Lakes Institute of Management is organising a management development programme on "powerful business profitability strategies".

This interactive one-day session on August 31, will be led by Prof. Paul Prabhakar and Prof. S. Sriram, according to a press release from the institute.

The executive training programmes are forums for evolving new perspectives in management thinking, adds the release.

"In an age of fierce market competition, this cross-functional programme will give the participant the critical edge in identifying opportunities and devising strategies," the release quotes Prof Sriram. "It will provide fresh insights into marketing theory and practice and reveal cutting-edge tactics to improve an organisation's bottom line."

Prof. Paul Prabhaker is the Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Marketing at the Illinois Institute of Technology's Stuart Graduate School of Business, while Prof S. Sriram is the Executive Director, GLIM.
