Rubber prices steady

THE spot rubber prices were steady on Tuesday.

According to traders, the Budget proposal to reduce the import duty has created an adverse impact over the sentimentsCovering groups were moderately active in the market keeping a low profile. Futures quoted steady with March contract being traded at Rs 52.95 (52.85.

Spot rubber prices per kg were as follows: RSS 4: 53 (53); RSS 5: 52 (52); ungraded: 51 (51.50); ISNR 20: 52.25 (52.25); and latex 60 per cent: 39 (39).
