LVB board meet to finalise rights issue

THE board of directors of Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd (LVB) would meet on Friday to finalise the terms of proposed rights issue, the bank said in a statement here on Wednesday.

The Karur-based private bank, having an equity base of Rs 11.51 crore, is planning to go in for rights issue shortly. The last time the bank came out with rights, along with bonus issue, was in 1994, the release said.
