Strategy Industry & Economy - Health Kaya to be one-stop shop for skincare Our Bureau
Pune , Oct. 25 KAYA Skin Clinic, a Marico Industries' venture, is all set to evolve into a one-stop destination for all aspects related to skin. The company, which has set up speciality skincare clinics in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, among other places, is in the process of developing services that will offer clients a host of solutions in skincare. "The idea is to offer our clients more than just the service they walked into our clinic for. We want him or her to walk out of the clinic educated and aware of the various aspects that go into making skin healthy and glowing," said Mr Mrinmoy Mukherjee, Head, Marketing, Kaya Skin Clinic. The clinic is leveraging the Internet to spread the word on healthy skin as part of its `beauty at your fingertips' project. Designed as a ready reckoner for all skin-related queries, the company's Web site, www.kayaclinic.com, offers information on the latest skincare technologies and services available at its clinics, as also about online booking for services or purchases of its products. Those who seek additional information or have specific queries can expect a response from the in-house dermatologists in hours, according to Mr Ram Iyer, Business Manager. The company, which sees potential for this business across the country, is also in the process of rolling out speciality clinics in other locations. The next stop for Kaya is Chennai and Hyderabad, where the clinics will be set up in November. Ludhiana and Chandigarh are next on the list.
