BEFI concern over UPA policies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) has expressed concern over the actual intent of United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government's economic policy.

The State General Secretary of the CITU, Mr P.K. Gurudasan, who was addressing a BEFI conference here, said the UPA Government was merely following the predecessor NDA Government's economic liberalisation policy. The Left was supporting the Congress-led UPA Government merely to keep the `fascist forces' out of power, he added.
