NECC buys maize for allotment to farmers

Hyderabad , April 5

THE National Egg Co-ordination Committee (NECC) has procured maize for allotment to poultry farmers at Rs 50 per quintal lower than the current market price.

NECC had procured maize for the benefit of farmers as the "maize price is being maintained at an unreasonable high level mainly due to hoarding by traders," according to a NECC press release.
