Hyderabad , Feb. 21

FOR those top-level company executives who are busy chalking up strategies and managing the show, the Indian Institute of Management (Kolkata) has introduced a new course to help them hone their strategic and human resources skills.

"Maybe, you have got experience only with one company. But our course will give you an exposure to a number of companies. You can interact with people like you and the faculty," Prof. Ranjan Das, Director of the IIMC Long Duration programme, told Business Line.

Prof. Das was in the city to address a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) workshop on `Maximising shareholders value'.

Exclusively targeted at top-level company executives who are general managers, divisional heads and above, the one-year course would help in networking, he said.

The IIMC Business Leaders Programme is the latest in IIMC's stable of seven courses under its long duration brand.

The institute has also introduced a new one-year International Management Education Programme. The other programmes include Young Professional Programme and Special Management Programme.
