People Praxair India has new MD Our Bureau
Bangalore , Jan. 10 MR John Panikar, formerly business development manager for Praxair Asia, has been appointed Managing Director of Praxair India. He takes over from Mr Indrajit Mookerjee, who has taken retirement. Mr Mookerjee has been holding charge of Praxair since 1996 and had made major contributions to the growth of the company over the last eight years. During the period, Praxair had expanded its business activities beyond the southern region of India into eastern and western region, said Mr Michael Douglas, President of Praxair Asia, while announcing the change of guard at Praxair India. He said Mr Mookerjee plans to continue as a Director of the Jindal Praxair Oxygen Co, a joint venture with Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Ltd and would provide consulting services to Praxair.
