New Products & Services Money & Banking - Internet ICICIdirect plan to reach remote areas Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: ICICIdirect.com, online trading service from ICICI, has launched `DirectLink', which seeks to provide trading access to remote parts of the country through a local partner. Investors who have no means of real time access to capital markets will now be offered all ICICIdirect products and services through the local partner, called `Direct Business Catalyst (DBC)', company officials said here at a press conference. The DBC would act as a facilitator between ICICIdirect and the retail investor. He would introduce a customer to ICICIdirect, would get his account opened, educate him on online trading and would also place orders for him on request, said Mr Anup Bagchi, Chief Operating Officer of ICICIdirect.
