Internet Law Commission Web site Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: The Law Commission of India has established its Web site http://lawcommissionofindia.nic.in, containing comprehensive information about the commission, the list of its reports including downloadable reports as printed copies of the Law Commission's Reports are not generally available in the market. There is constant increase in demand for its reports from the public, researchers, law institutions, courts and Bar. The Web site will meet largely the demands of the people in this regard. The Law Commission has forwarded 183 reports to the Government during the past five decades on various issues in the field of law and legal reforms. These are often cited in courts, academic and public seminars, an official release said. The Commission has released a set of three CD ROMs recently containing 176 reports, which cost Rs 450 and are being marketed by the National Informatics Centre.
