Top officials quit Radico Khaitan

Boby Kurian

BANGALORE, Nov. 27

RADICO Khaitan Ltd, a fast growing liquor company, is witnessing a shakeout in its top-level management with Mr V.K. Arora, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Mr C.B. Srivastava, Assistant Vice-President (sales) putting in their papers.

Mr Arora had joined Radico from the UB group almost two years back and was entrusted with steering a fast-growing spirits business which boasted of brands such as 8PM and Contessa.

The exit of the top officials comes at a time when analysts believe that it would be difficult for the company, which is also a significant player in country liquor, to keep up the hectic growth seen in recent years, which was mainly due to the spurt in IMFL sales.

Mr Abhishek Khaitan, Executive Director, RKL, said the resignations would have no impact on the growth prospects of the company.
