Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has postponed a ruling on the petition filed by the Cellular Operators' Association of India (COAI) challenging the Government's decision to allow basic operators to offer wireless in local loop (WLL) limited mobility services.

At a hearing on the petition on Friday, the court sought more information from both the COAI and the Government before taking a final decision on the matter. They have been directed to submit 10-page written submissions by October 30. The final hearing is expected on October 31.
