Our Bureau

MANGALORE, Sept. 18

DREAMNET Systems Pvt Ltd, which hopes to play `an important role in the expansion of business', will be launching its operations here from September 20.

According to DreamNet representatives, the `main aim of the company' is to provide its members with a `business network', which would enable them to make purchases at concessional rates apart from earning a royalty on purchases made by all the down-line members of the scheme.

DreamNet has already entered into `tie-up arrangements' with more than a hundred retail outlets in Mangalore, Udupi, Sullia, Karkala, Puttur and Kundapura.

Company representatives also say that franchisees will be appointed shortly in all the major cities across the country along with tie-up arrangements to enable `consumer shopping'.

DreamNet also claims that more than 2,500 people have already enrolled with the company prior to its official inauguration.

The goods covered under the scheme include groceries, medicines, textiles, books and stationary, footwear, electronic items, hotels and restaurants, apart from services ranging from laundry services to beauty parlours. Also, enrolled members will be eligible to take `free courses' in computer basics, yoga, vaastu, astrology, English and `personality development'.
