BANGALORE: BHEL's Electroporcelains division has become the first insulator unit to receive the OHSAS-18001 certification for its occupational health and safety management system.

The PSU's Bhopal and Tiruchi units have already received the certification. The standard verified by DNV, New Delhi envisages a systematic and structured approach to manage occupational health and safety hazards in the industry, according to a BHEL release.
