Announcements Kisco bags maiden export order Our Bureau
NEW DELHI, June 24 THE new joint venture company Kudremukh Iron & Steel Company Ltd (Kisco), promoted by three public sector units, namely Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd (KIOCL), Metallurgical and Engineering Consultants (India) Ltd (Mecon) and the Metal Scrap Trading Corporation (MSTC), has finalised its maiden export order for basic grade pig iron to Primetrade in Swutzerland, which is one of the global leaders in pig iron trading. Based in Mangalore, Kisco was set up to manufacture low sulphur and low phosphorus pig iron and ductile iron spun popes. The company commenced commercial production in May 2001.
