Karnataka to export milk, sugar to Lanka

BANGALORE: Karnataka will soon export milk and sugar to Sri Lanka as the latter has found the quality of the products from the factories here to be good, Mr A. Krishnappa, Minister for Sugar, said at a workshop here.

Some of the Arabian countries have also shown interest in buying milk and sugar from the State, he said. The Government was already exporting these products to Nepal, he pointed out.
