BHEL electronics unit bags order from Bengal

BANGALORE, May 14

THE electronics division of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) here has bagged an order valued at Rs 3.50 crore for setting up a solar power plant in West Bengal, a press release said here.

The order received from the West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency is for setting up a 105 KWp solar power plant in Mousuni island in the Sundarbans.

This is the second solar PV power plant to be set up by BHEL in this island.

Earlier, the company had set up a 55 KWp solar PV power plant. The work envisages design, manufacture, supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of this plant for five years.
