Regulatory Bodies & Rulings SEBI appoints ISE directors Our Bureau
MUMBAI, March 26 THE Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has appointed six public representative (PR) Directors on the board of Inter-Connected Stock Exchange of India (ISE) for the year 2002-03. Mr M.R. Mayya, Chairman, ISE and ISS, continues to be on the board of ISE. The new directors appointed in the current year include Prof P.V. Narasimham, former Chairman and Managing Director of IFCI, and Ms Vimala Visvanathan, former Executive Director, RBI. The other PR Directors who continue to be on the board are Mr Justice A.D. Tated, Mr Ajay A. Thakkar, practising Chartered Accountant and Prof L.M. Bhole of IIT-Mumbai.
