Positra SEZ financial closure soon

NEW DELHI: The Positra special economic zone (SEZ) is expected to achieve financial closure within two months, the Chairman, Sea King Infrastructure Ltd, Mr Nikhil Gandhi, has said.

"The total investment envisaged is Rs 5,600 crore. About Rs 1,390 crore will be raised as equity and the balance as debt.

"The acquisition would be completed soon and work on SEZ is expected to begin in April. We are hoping to have a soft launch within 20 months of starting work in the project," he told presspersons on the sidelines of a seminar on SEZs.
