Restructuring Cummins EGM to seek nod for plant sale Our Bureau
MUMBAI, Feb. 21 AN extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of the shareholders of Cummins India Ltd is scheduled to be held on March 26, to seek shareholders approval for the disposal of Plant II. At the EGM, shareholders approval for amendment of Articles of Association will also be solicited. Earlier, the board of directors, at its meeting held on February 11, had proposed to sell, lease or otherwise dispose of the undertaking of the company, viz., Plant II, as a going concern, or otherwise dispose of various assets of Plant II, individually or collectively.
